Florida

Florida gets a season all unto itself.

I would like to note that while I was selecting these pictures, I was also sweeping the kitchen and found not one but two small spiders. And I will need to help them outside by myself as my husband is not into doing this although he is hell on ants. The cat is hell on moths. I guess we are a quirky family.

  1. I would give Florida its own season, too. Your photographs are lovely.

My dog likes biting bugs, especially flying bugs. My cats love spiders. As long as snakes don't make their way inside, I am up to the task.

  2. The other day when I was changing the sheets, a spider ran out from one of them. I don't often find spiders inside, but this year, I suppose because we had a mild winter, I've seen some type of insect just about every day. I'm always bragging that here we can sit outside in the evening and not get eaten up by mosquitoes. Well, at the beginning of summer I got bitten.

Glad you didn't kill the spiders. I'd love to find something that works on ants though. Your photos are lovely.

  3. Your pictures are bautiful!! As for spiders, yuck!! With us having brown recluse and black widows around, I see a spider its dead. I'm not taking any chances. Brian always gets bitten and has had to have surgery for a spider bite before. nasty little critters they are. My cat loves flys.
